His name - Karosta - the building is notorious because it is there for a long time, there was a prison where he is serving sentence Soviet and Nazi prisoners during World War II and after. Today it is - a thematic hotel, the walls of which less than a century ago, there were mass executions, and now rest thrill seekers.
An unusual hotel is considered one of the main attractions of Latvia, it is in the city of Liepaja. Visitors are invited to tour, during which everyone can visit the most hidden corners of the old prison, learn scary stories about ghosts and all sorts of mysterious incidents that have occurred within these walls, visit the museum Karosta and, most importantly, book your stay in one of the prison cells .

Karosta building was constructed in 1900, was originally used as a hospital, and later - as a prison and the Soviet and Nazi executive agencies. During the war, the Nazis shot here Latvian deserters. To fully realize the horror that people have experienced, being here in prison, it is enough to see the preserved inscription on the wall of an encrypted single camera: «izeja no elles», which translated from the Latvian means "the way out of hell."
