The manufacturer of spare parts and components for bicycles, a Chicago-based company SRAM, arranged for everyone to charity festival auction ART Project. This project is an exhibition and sale of the amazing sculptures of bicycle parts, which each participant activities provided by the company SRAM.
To participate in the auction organizers chose about 46 painters and sculptors from all over the world who have been pre-qualifying competition. In their hands, these lifeless pieces of iron become works of art. Plastic and metal parts, carbon fiber, tires and gears, as well as the entire frame, seat and chain were transformed into intricate figurines and paintings, installations, and such that the imagination of authors can only envy.
Art project pART Project is planned as a traditional annual competition at the same time advertising, creativity and charity. This year the company will hold its SRAM for the third time. Money from the sale of sculptures will be listed organization World Bicycle Relief, an international charity care, and the winners of the contest will be the owners of cash grants and trips to Africa, where they will be able to travel as part of a charitable mission of the fund.
