Fujitsu has introduced a technology by which normal printed sheet can be interactive. The development is implemented using a webcam, projector, computer and special software. The camera tracks the movement of the user's hands on a piece of paper and reacts to the movements of the index finger only. For example, a user can highlight a passage of text or image - this information is transmitted to a computer, digitized and converted into a virtual two-or three-dimensional elements. These elements are projected on the list, the user can perform manipulations with them such as copying, moving, scaling, etc. The system is able to track the movement at a speed of 30 cm / s. Currently, the company continues testing technology and plans to launch the project into commercial production next year. Video description.
