This complex is one of the largest in Greece, it was formed in the tenth century to the present day is preserved in good condition. For more than ten years Meteors are objects of cultural heritage. The complex consists of 24 Orthodox monasteries, 6 of which are to this day. All of them are located on the cliffs of Thessaly plain.
